Review of BlackBerry Curve 9300 3G

The BlackBerry Curve 3G is come along with the full QWERTY keyboard below a 2.4-inch screen, with the 2-megapixel camera on the reverse.

Yet, it offering 3G connectivity as well as Wi-Fi, the handset supports the fast internet browsing while apps and themes can be easily downloaded from the BlackBerry App World.

Next, that famous physical QWERTY keyboard is sensible-looking chassis with rounded corners and textured back, while the chrome-effect border panel houses the 480x360 LCD screen and a series of flush buttons alongside the optical track-pad.

The microUSB port is located alongside the 3.5mm headphone connection and the left-hand convenience key, who gives the user default option in adding shortcut. The camera button is located on the other side of the handset, just below the volume controls. The top panel features the BlackBerry Curve 3G's media controls – play/pause, skip forwards and skip back.

With dedicated media buttons on the top of the handset, the BlackBerry Curve 3G is clearly intended to be used as a media player, just as same as the iPhone or a Sony Ericsson Walkman phone. To this end, it's also reassuring to see a 3.5mm headphone jack giving you the freedom of using whatever headphones you like.

Lastly, the 2-megapixel camera only provides normal quality of photos shooting, and lacks the flash and autofocus which can be found on the higher-spec BlackBerry Bold 9700.

As you'd expect from any handset in the BlackBerry family, the Curve 3G features enviable email capabilities and BlackBerry Messenger for instant messaging other BlackBerry users for next-to-nothing.

  3. So blogger could you tell me, which Blackberry model is the best and buyers prefer which model?

  4. actually is depends on your budget, if you don't have any limit then go for Bold 9780, else pick the basic one, Curve 9300! both functions and features are same, just the processor and flash memory are differences.

  6. my suggestion, if you are more into touch screen phone then go for Torch, else pick Bold. both of them are running the latest os6 and having the same processor speed.

  7. Nice! In that case, users are most probably not in a dilemma to pick either one as users who love touchscreen can easily make a decision for themselves without wasting too much time deciding. A wise decision from Blackberry.
